Virgin Money Survey

Hi

Today I got my mortgage offer through from Virgin

However they didn't send the valuation survey, yet they stated:

The valuation report recommends that repairs/improvements are carried out.You are advised to obtain reports and/or estimates in respect of these works prior to making a commitment to purchase.

Is this normal? Do i need to chase them for survey?

I leave for holidays on Sunday and dont want to hold things up any longer, as im on waiting to get solicitor to do checks.

Hardly time to get anything organised or take another look yourself. Suggest you ring in the morning and ask them to read you the pertinent parts.

Call centre only open mon-fri. Do you know if they usually issue the surveys with offer though?

We like to get the solicitor to start doing searches while we are away, but concerned it will be most cost if the survey results are something shocking.
