Seems excellent to me (but I'm no expert either).

Aldi are about to crank out 32" Tevion for £350, but I'd much sooner shell out £50 for a Sony.

All I would say, it's a silver cabinet (if that matters to you) - most flat screen TVs seems to have gone back to BLACK surrounds - looks a bit better if you get blank (ie Black) areas on the screen.

Maybe the fact it's silver means its not the latest Sony Bravia.
  • that's great but I don't want one with freeview as can't get it in my area...but sony...that's great....thanks again:D:j

All the "freeview" sets in my house also have a normal analog tuner too......

    Does that help?

I think this thread would get more hits if the price was mentioned in the thread title.

You don't have to use the Freeview tuner, you can just use the analogue one, until switchover, then everyone will need a Freeview tuner, or some other method of receiving stuff.
  • This is a top brand sony tv. Some places are charging £700 plus for this as we speak, though the next best price is approx £450.

    These are the specs:

    32" screen
    HD-ready
    HDMI(TM) socket x1
    PC connectivity
    RGB x2
    Component video x1
Picture in Picture function (PC mode with TV window)
    High-performance 1 chip video processor
    3D Y/C comb filter
    WXGA (1366 x 768)
Integrated digital terrestrial and analogue tuner
    BBE ViVA Digital HD3D Sound

This is an older model only 1 HDMI, still a good tv though.
