I just wanted to share with someone the sense of relief I feel after being notified by Payplan that all of my creditors have accepted the offer of reduced payments for my DMP.
I know not everyone has had a good experience with Payplan but for me (I've not been able to tell family and friends about my financial problems) they have offered a lot of support and great advice in how to deal with my difficult situation. Like a lot of people I worried about contacting them as my problems were due to just overspending and not once have they made me feel judged.
I can only advise anyone looking on this site for help to contact either Payplan or Stepchange. For the first time in a long while I'm looking forward to a good night's worry free sleep!

If you hear negative stories about Payplan that pre-date 2014, give them the benefit of the doubt.
Payplan reformed their questionable practices (selling associated products) about 18 months ago.
I refer people to them fairly often and get good feedback.
I hope everything goes OK for you.0
