Poor Advice! Where do I go from here?

I received a letter to say that an additional sum of money added to my mortgage would be electronically transferred into my account. 7 days after the letter my account was still not credited. I called the bank providing the loan who said there was a problem but they had spoken to my bank and the money would be credited 2moro. 2 MORO CAME AND NO TRANSFER!.I called the lender to be told it was my banks fault and the money was waiting to be transferred I just had to call them. I called but nothing on the system . Back to the lender to check they would search for the money and notify me. No notifciation so back to the lender. 14 days later no money and no-one can advise me further or tell me where the money has gone. Why not? I have know been unable to pay my builder and have to wait until Monday for someone in Head Office to make calls. Anyone offer better advice or who I should now call, Lender - Abbey , My Bank Nationwide.

I would ask the sending bank to fax a copy of the transmission details of the bacs transfer to your local branch. I would then take that to the receiving bank and let them trace or tell you where its going wrong.
