Is uv nail polish bad for nails

Options
I have only just bought an led lamp and started doing my nails and I love it! My current varnish has been on for two weeks and is just as good as when it was first applied and I love it as it changes colour when my hands get hot/cold BUT do you reckon it's bad for the nails. It's basically like putting gloss paint over nails. I know they are 'dead' and possibly don't need to breathe much but should I leave a few days between each application so I have naked nails for a bit? I don't know

Is the harm not done more at the point you remove the polish - I have heard if not removed properly is what causes the damage.
Would be interested to know though.

  • As long as they are applied and removed correctly your nails won't be damaged at all :)
