Im aware from the Newbie thread that the recommendations for dealing with payment demand letters from Smart Parking and Debt Recovery Plus have changed from the simple 'ignore' of old but I have a question that I think I know the answer to, but am not 100% sure and I can't find a similar scenario in the current info threads.

Recieved a ticket from Smart Parking in 2013. I ignored it and the subsequent threat letters based on information found here.

I had a few of the all too familiar letters, all of which were ignored and then everything went quiet probably 2 years ago now. So I thought!they had finally got the message.

No attempt was made to appeal or contact them I simply ignored. !The letters were all addressed to my partner as she is registered keeper but she was not driving the car at the time.

Fast forward to!January 2016 and we receive a letter from DRP. 'landmark case, may go to court if you don't pay blah blah blah'.

Am I right to assume that as I didn't appeal at the time and have ignored all letters so far, I simply continue to ignore them again now unless I get a Letter before Court Action or Summons ?

Im fully aware that DRP cannot pursue things any further themselves and are probably just trying their luck on old cases by using the recent court case as an additional threat, but I just wanted to make sure that there is nothing more I should be doing other than continuing to ignore ?

Thanks in advance,
