Not to sure if this is the correct place for this post.

I had car finance with Money Way aka Secure Trust bank, terminated last October, long story short, had been charged way over the odds, tbh the dealership saw me coming. Car was inspected and various charges added including £20 per wheel trim (i know 20 quid ea), anyway all charges were removed apart from front bumper trim, which was never on the car from the day I bought it, yet they want me to pay £120 to replace. Taken it to the ombudsman who have decided that they can't do anything more as neither the business nor I, can provide evidence to say that the trim was/wasn't there at the time of purchase.

This is were I need advice, what am I expected to do now, do I pay the money or carry on the dispute with Secure Trust bank. The decision was made early last week but I haven't heard anything else from Money Way who prior to last week rang for an update every Friday.

If the Ombudsman have ruled against you, there's not much you can go on. You could try taking them to court, but it's your word against theirs, and (presumably) they have a bit of evidence on their side that it was on it.

I'd just pay it and chalk it up to experience.
