Earning reward points when clearing off a loan
I am due to pay off a car loan very soon and was hoping to do so via credit card, Unfortunately the payment limit is £3000 and I think they charge a fee for card payments (not confirmed).
Credit cards do not allow transfer of money to an account other than one belonging to the card holder. And there is a % fee charged for this also.
As it is quite a hefty payment can anyone think of a way that I can somehow benefit from this, for example rewards points etc?

It's unlikely they'll let you pay a loan off with credit.
It's unlikely your credit card will have a lower rate than your loan.
The best option you can look at is to get a super transfer to your bank account and pay it off from there, but you'll probably pay more in fee than you'll save in interest.
Why not just save up and pay it off, rather than worrying about reward points?0
