Mortgage lender won't lend due to vendor owning less than 6 months...

    A limited company and one if its shareholders are two distinct identities. The property has changed hands in the last six months and many lenders will not lend in such circumstances.

    Expect a great degree of scrutiny of this as Halifax try to understand why he moved the property from the limited company to himself before selling.

    I don't know if you will be successful with Halifax. You may have to change lenders to one which doesn't have this requirement.

    Why have the posts been removed, this is a fairly common problem, with a twist from what I remember.
