Looking to sell some old books and was thinking of using webuybooks.com. Seen a mixture of reviews and was wondering if anyone here had used them and are they worth using?

Yes, i use them regularly. No real issues.
Depending on what you are selling you may wish to cross check across a variety of buyers :-

ziffit are good too, they often to emails saying 10% extra this weekend, and you can get another 10% through quidco on top of that. Not all books are accepted though or have the same price. So it is worth scanning them through a couple of the phone apps and working out which combination works best I've found.MFW OP's 2017 #101 £829.32/£5000

WBB are great, use them ALL the time with no problems. Use the app, it's much easier. Of course they don't accept everything, only what's saleable. I always try to sell things myself first on Amazon or eBay.Minimalist

I recycled some books a few years back via amazon. Some text books gave me some decent money, however it seemed common books are only worth 10p!0

Well of course books that are not in demand are not worth much, particularly if they have been popular for a while- as there are loads out there. It amazes me that this still surprises people! Textbooks tend to hold their value and so the price stays higher, until they release a new edition and then they plummet. The trick is either to wait to buy best sellers and get them cheap 2nd hand, then it doesn't matter if you only get pence for them. Or buy at full price, read quickly and sell them within a week or so of them coming out.Minimalist

I love WBB. I think I have made about £300 from them so far and haven't had any problems with them rejecting or downgrading items. I have found their prices on DVDs have been really good too. They are much quicker at paying than MusicMagpie IME.
P.S. Make sure you sign up for their newsletter before you start to sell as they have a 10% code every few weeks.s0 -
You can also usually find a 10% code on their Facebook or Twitter. If there isn't one, then just ask and they'll usually give you one. HTHMinimalist
