reckless behaviour before bankruptcy

  • Hi thanks for all the replies.
I really don't care if I get a bru/bro. I'm just concerned that about half the credit I took was only 2 weeks ago. I didn't lie on the forms just didn't use it for what I said it would.
Are these creditors likely to pursue me for fraud or maybe be excluded from the BR?
    Thanks

The other card which doesn't seem to give a flying fig is that Vanquis one - so long as you have a pulse and have been discharged, they will give you one (again, it has the usual 30%+ APR)

I used to think these APRs were a complete peace take. Then they invented Payday Loans :)

Payday loans are shocking! I feel they prey on vulnerable people!

I can't have a vanquis card they were one of my creditors and when I tried to apply it says I already have a card. However I'm really happy with the accounts I've opened so far, more than enough to get the rebuilding going. I was shocked to get anything TBH.

I will be super happy in October once the BRU is gone for good! Not sure where the last 6 years have gone!
  • Thanks everyone.
Well I'm just out of my first GA meeting and glad I went. Was pleased I even managed to face the 'CHAIR'!

Biggest revelation was the fact that I walked in there thinking my biggest problem was my debts. I'm now realising that's not the case. My far bigger problem is the gambling. And I feel so much better for going. I will beat this.
  • Yes, you will.

    Best of luck!

Maybe not the best phrase to use with someone trying to cure a gambling addiction :)

Things will only get better my friend. Kicking gambling is hard but once you do you feel wonderful.
