Ppi and dmp advice

On a dmp, hopefully the last 3 years of it. It's been a slog determined to pay it all off. However, i know that we had Ppi's on most of our debts. Can we claim for them and ask for the money to be taken off our debt. Or do we have to clear our debt and then try and claim?
Obviously, if i can further reduce our debt that's fab but if not it means we have a chance of savings when we are clear.
Any advice greatly appreciated. L2B.x

  • Phoning step change tomorrow regarding setting up DMP . I was just wondering step change advises setting up a new bank account at a different bank (which I have completed) .....How do I go about switching over my wages so they go into the new account? i'm so nervous about it all but it is my only option, i'm struggling so much and feel sick with worry.
any advice on any aspect of dmp would be much appreciated.
