Oops another question, I'll keep it on the same thread...

I had a company pension with my old job and I need to transfer it to my current one as soon as I can find out how to do it... Should I put the details down for both pensions on the form or just my old one?

I have paid about 2.5 years into the old and only 1 months into the new! I've never been sure about pensions, so I am a little confused what I need to put here... :)

    Hi MissMuppet

Your gas and electric seem a tad low. Have you allowed for the increase during the winter? Also do you think you can merge your holiday savings with some of your other outgoings as some creditors may think that holidays are an extravagance.

You have £39.50 to share among your creditors each month. Have you thought of ways to save money and maximise your income? Perhaps you could take in a lodger?

Thanks needaspirin but this is for my bankruptcy form so saving money and maximising my income don't really come into it right now... :)

Have you checked what amounts are usual and allowed? When I spoke to CCCS they allowed £60 for phone. I'm not sure if this is because I am a family of 4 though.

Fermi seems an expert on this sort of thing.

Good luck on Tuesday by the way. I'll watch for your post then.

    Hardly. :o

But I do know where the Insolvency Service hide this bit of info:

    http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/freedomofinformation/technical/techmanvol1/Ch25-36/Chapter31/part7/part2/part_2.htm

It's a vital bit of reading for anyone preparing an I&E for the OR. While being bit involved, it really gives an understanding of how they approach your I&E and the way the OR thinks. :)

Thanks fermi, will take a look at that tonight... :)
  • I would up the gas/elec a bit, reduce the hol fund as the guide lines state £60 - £ 80 for a family of four. ( reduce to £30 ) and put £ 20 in for 'personal expenses'

Hope it goes well for you, and I assure you its not nearly so scary as you might think !
