Help! My flapjack went wrong!

Decided to make a savoury flapjack. There's a hell of a lot of it. Didn't put enough butter in so it didn't hold together properly so now I have a lot of cheesy savoury crumble mixture type thing.
I figure I can use some of it for a veggie crumble, so I'll perhaps do that tomorrow, but what can I do with the rest?! Can I freeze it now it's been cooked? There's so much of it!

It will freeze absolutely fine, and can be used for savoury crumble until you're fed up with it!
I would be tempted to make a bit of a guess on quantities, melt some butter and stir in some of the "crumble" until it seems about right - so re-making your original flapjack.0 -
I did wonder about that actually. I could get some more butter this afternoon and re-do it.
See, what I should have done is scale down the quantities of everything else to match the butter I had. That'll teach me to start weighing out without checking I've got everything first

What was said above - but I'd freeze in 1 portion bags (say enough for one crumble). So you'd end up with 2-3 bags in the freezer - I'd say they'd be really yum!0

If it tastes ok, I'd store it in an airtight container and eat it as a savoury snack with a cup of tea as an when.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
