Property Service Charges

I have been fighting this for years but the law really is not on the leaseholders side.
After continuously complaining that I was not receiving full service the Maintenance Company providers finally admitted that I was indeed correct.
With this in mind I am going to write to the ombudsman and see if I can get any money back or at lease get my bill reduced.
It will take a while but I will update this thread when I can

With the paucity of detail you've provided so far, you've written no more than "I am dissatisfied with service from a company I use and will ask a third party for some money back". The fact it's a management company appears to be irrelevant.
Why aren't you directly asking the management company for money back?0 -
Actually I did ask the Management Company to reimburse me to which they replied they could not repay any money as it was part of my lease to pay an equal share for the services provided.
My argument would need to be addressed via Leasehold Tribunal or Ombudsman who will be able to determine if their charges were indeed fair.
Hope this answers your question Another Joe and as I pay quite a large amount £1400 I am entitled to the same level of Maintenance as other leaseholders and if not then my charges should reflect that.0
