  • Currently, your Employer is only obliged to pay 1% of your salary, they are paying 3%. Surely that's something to be happy about?


    However you've got me thinking, as our pension works on 1% of total earnings, and if someone is in the childcare voucher scheme, it still uses their pre sacrificed amount to work out their 2% ER & EE.

    It isn't uncommon - my employer uses "reference salary" e.g. pre-sacrifice for all contractual benefits.
