Liverpool John Lennon Airport PCN

IAS have dismissed my Liverpool John Lennon Airport PCN appeal. No surprise there.

Amongst other reasons I included the information from Paking Prankster regarding the the signage issues i.e. font, reading distance etc. IAS have dismissed this, stating VCS have sent them photographs of their 'Clear' signage.

Photograph of sign viewed whilst sat at a desk vs Sign viewed from a moving vehicle = I can't see their logic myself.

IAS have also allowed VCS to accuse me of stopping in a 'red route' zone however the PCN photographs clearly show that my vehicle is not on red lines. Again I am confused as to how accusing someone of being at an incorrect location is grounds for the appeal to be dismissed?

Im just waiting to see what happens next

 I've booked to use Manchester on my next Trip

Manchester has a much more friendly welcome. Drop off at T1 is excellent (haven't used T2 or T3 for some time) - easy access, designated drive in, drive out herringbone parking, no reversing, no hassle and no charge. As it should be.

I'd never consider LJLA, especially with the VCS aggro. I wonder how much business it's costing the airport - a fair bit more than the £25k and commissions on PCN payments they get from VCS, I'd guess. Poor business!

Wouldn't worry too much. Just another No Stopping ticket that will never get to court.

BTW, have VCS ever taken a no stopping ticket to court at all? for any site? ever? I can't seem to find a single case....

Read this http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2015/08/independent-parking-committee-fail-to.html and this http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2015/09/the-independent-appeals-service-ias-has.html

then something like this to the airport, across social media and anything else ( don't send this word for word its just for an idea - its probably full of typos and grammatical errors )

    Dear Liverpool Airport
Your agents, VCs recently issued my vehicle with a parking charge notice for stopping on Red lines, however my vehicle was not stopped on any red route ( even if it had done the charge would be unjust and not valid)
I challenged this charge to your agents, VCS owned by a certain Simon-Renshaw Smith who rejected my challenge and offered, what at the time I believed at the time to be an independent appeals service, the appeal sent was as follows: ( add same appeal as sent to the IAS)
I was surprised to find that the IAS had sided with the car park operator
I was even more surprised that this so called independent appeals service is anything but independent and fails in several places to meet the requirements of the Alternate Dispute Resolution For consumer Contracts Regulations 2015
As such I am rejecting the findings of the IAS.
I also now require you, as Liverpool John Lenon Airport to take either the following actions:
1: Instruct your agents, VCS to drop this ridiculous charge and issue a full apology with an undertaking that this will not happen again
2: Issue court papers immediately as I will not be making any payment to VCS or anyone else over this matter without direction from a court, any court case will be robustly defended, and you - John Lenon Airport will be held jointly liable for any costs as a result of these unreasonable actions.

As I have wasted enough of my own time in dealing with your incompetence in allowing a company with such a poor reputation as VCS ( and/or any other company affiliated with the BPA/IAS) to operate on your land I shall have no other option than to charge you, Liverpool John Lenon Airport as principal £19 per hour ( or part there of) for dealing with any demands/letters sent by VCS or any other company associated with them, such as Debt recovery plus/ZZPS and so on .
I look forward to your response within the next 7 days,
    love and kisses Biogeek
