Have we noticed any shortage of biscuits or are we immune to any absences on the shelves due to stashes?

I was surprised to read this

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cumbria-35696027

although I have this week opened my last Family Circle from Xmas (but still have 2 tins shortbread and a tin of Foxes in stock...)

the fb pages of all the supermarkets are routinely asked "where are the bourbons?"

Most stores now have signs in the biscuit aisle explaining the shortage

Thank god it was the floods, and not the Elite targeting Morribobs for the free biscuits..... (I still have rather a few free packets!)

It was the fact it was so quick, we knew it was terminal but 5 weeks to the day when he first went hospital , not even diagnosed:( but do you know what, he is looking after my sister as they hadnt had an egg from the chickens since nov time, she has had 1 or more every day since he left us:T to make sure she eats;)

Of course it was a shock bubbs. 5 weeks :o.......about the length of time between one pay packet and the next. Too much too quickly:o

Lovely story about the eggs though......anything that brings her a little comfort is a blessing:A

That's lovely about the eggs. My friend gave me a peace lily, it never flowered for me from the time I received it, but it was very leafy and healthy so I kept it year after year. Three weeks after her funeral, it flowered.
    :T thats lovely too
