Just wanted to post this before bed incase anyone is going to Tesco tomorrow and doing a Brand Guarantee.
Personally I forgot the TBG is deducted from your bill at the till and therefore had to do some product grabbing to use my Spend £30 get £4 off when I hadn't hit the qualifying spend

    Morning all

an update on our line status or non update - we got another call back last night and again we had to explain the situation all over again but this time we seem to have found someone that actually cares and I think she is going to be our point of contact now - she is ringing again tonight.

she is going to ring BT Open zone again today for clarity of info and she noted the date of the original problem when we first rang up December 28th. We did actually have a couple of months after this when everything was OK.

Our line problem has been declared to be in a hot zone - near a gas or water pipe or electric cabling - I doubt if there are many streets that are not hot zones.

Oddly there is also something about off shore problem on the notes - no idea what that means as we are 3 hours from the sea.

the new date for work is now march 11th so that will be 6 weeks without a phone line. Thankfully we still have some broadband although it did go down to 0.11 last Friday we had 0.47 yesterday

so now we will see what this lady can find out for us to today

Sorry if this has been already mentioned as I haven't been around this week - T have bwwn told to pull an advert for their BM after S complained to ASA:

Thanks Anon. It was high time T addressed the issue of 'Never' as the ASA quite rightly says:

It also considered the statement "Never pay more for your branded shop" was an "absolute claim" that was likely to be understood by consumers to mean that if they purchased branded goods they would qualify for the price match.

This is what Savvy and I discussed back in early December when I had to make a claim via CS that their system had not picked up the fact that I had paid more for Activia yoghurts.

Never say never, Mr. T !

Morning all. It's a lot nicer weather here today. x
