mhoc sorry they only had your top in a 12 in Wrexham :(
Was also wondering which tie you went for in the end for your son-in-law to be :)

Yes it was a long job deciding on the tie.

to complicate matters as well one company only took paypal and one had a 3 week delivery slot so that narrowed down the choices of company I could use.

there was a Shropshire company I wanted to use but I was not sure about the delivery date.

there is actually one tie company on TCB offering 10% so if anyone is thinking about Fathers day its worth going to have a look now.

so in the end I went for a navy one with tiny piggies on it and it looks very neat. I paid £4 for a tie box - not sure about its quality but it looks neat, the top is padded so in the box it looks very smart. Also there was a code for 5% off so at least that took £1 off.

I think in the end I paid as much as I would have just going for the original one my eldest had sent me a photo of but on the plus side I did get a presentation box as well and its not John Lewis (his mums favourite store)

Also in my card collection I found a National Trust blank card with a roe deer on it which was perfect. Eldest child loved seeing the deer when we took her to Dunham Massey when she came to see us last year - again looks very classy

Mind you none of this really matters as eldest child has a huge surprise for BFs birthday :T

Can I show you Dad's drawings he did in hospital using his left hand?

The first picture is to show how he drew before his stroke, with his right hand

You are showing a hug amount of patience with him :D, hopefully things will settle down eventually, 4 months in hospital is a very long time and coming home takes a lot of adjustment.

at least your mum has you to help.

I suppose if things do get difficult the carers would have to come in again a bit more often.

through gritted teeth you just have to count your blessings however difficult the day is :D

The best bit is that you have him home. When my M-I-l went into hospital that awful day is etched on my memory because she never came home. The same with my Dad he went in while I was away, I had said to him all along never go in to hospital ever and so I tried all ways to get him back home again but it was not to be.

Those pics are amazing snap :D

Just come in from spending an hour gardening in the sunshine. Had to take my coat off after 2 minutes and am sitting here in the lounge in a T shirt, sun streaming through the windows, though it is moving round now and will be the wrong side soon.
