Didnt remember it was you. Apology accepted moving on. Can you tell me how they got it to the correct figure?

    5.29 x 20% = 1.06 x 3 = 3.18
    4.99 x 20% = 1.00 x 2 = 2.00

    10+4.99+6.49+6.49-3.18-2-10-8= 4.79

I can put more info if you need it? You practically had it though so I imagine it was just a typo?

    I worked it out differently. I calculated the 20% on the chicken and fish which was 3 x £1.04 and 2 x 98p = £5.08 - £2.15coffee-£1.20 magazine-90 paper -£4.99 prawns -£5.87 chicken = £20.19.
    So £43.08 - £20.19 = £22.89-£10.00 refund -£8.00 coupon= £4.89

Just realised I took off £1.04 not £1.06 for chicken, £0.98 per pack of prawns not £ 1.00. So my miscalculation is 8p so £4.80 is correct ??

You were 10p out originally, the correct amount was 4.79 but the rest is correct
