Bit of drama in my life this week. 2 nights ago had a call at 11.50 pm from Mums lifeline to say she had fallen out of bed. I got up and went up and ambulance was called as i cant lift her. They took 2 hours to come as it was a busy night so after 30 mns I got mum onto her back and wrapped her up on the floor. So ambulance came and they put her back into bed and I got into to bed at 2.00am. Next morning I went to dr and when i came out at 10 had a message carer had come and found Mum under the bed! She said she had been there 2 hours but didnt not know how she got there. Paramedic was already there and with inflatable chair he had we got her up into chair. She had cut her leg badly and eventually they took her in at 2.00, They are keeping her in for a few days as apparently she has a UTI and they think there is another infection somewhere and they are worried about Sepsis. Im going to see her later.

While this was all going on my 6 months pregnant daughter was driving out of town to visit her friend and as she crossed a set of light by Morrisons she saw something out of corner of her eye. It was a wheelchair ( empty ) bouncing across the road. She swerved to avoid it and it seems another car crossed the road and there was a head on smash on the other side. She called 999 but drove on because she had a car behind and other people had stopped. Road closed for 5 hours and 2 people injured. It seems one of the drivers was drunk but how the wheelchair comes into it no one knows. Police coming to interview my daughter next week. So so relieved she is ok

I may get to Asda today so I understand the meal deal and the easter eggs but not the porridge and I need a bit of retail therapy.
    Thanks

    And happy birthday Tweets!

    Good afternoon Elite

How odd my 'more' smilies don't want to work now huh :p

What a lazy mare I've been this morning then :o I got up at 8.35am and had coffee, then another. By the time I'd had some breakfast and another coffee it was 10.10am

Doggies were fine overnight but I had problems sleeping, think I need a review of my meds as they no longer hold back the pain. I have the obligatory physio appointment 17th March before seeing consultant about left knee replacement but it's been my right hip keeping me awake

I've had a cry earlier as my beloved Masda mx5 has gone, oh how empty the garage looks :(. DH said if I wanted to keep it another year then do so but I did that last year and felt that now was the right time to send her away.

Oh well, my Meriva is now my best friend :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

FC how is the hair style today? It will take a little while to get used to it but you will. I was wondering what colour you went for :). So pleased that Geneva went well for you, shattering but so beautiful, I love Switzerland. Never been to Geneva, I went to Basel.

Hugs to those in need, and those that want a hug X

I'm away to have a massive catchup now before the thread ends I'll catch you up :rotfl: :rotfl:

    :)

Mum has escaped to the shops, I've parked Dad (at his request) in sitting room so he can 'fix' TV from the 'circle'
I'm being called every 2 minutes to read what is on TV screen :rotfl::rotfl:

We have cancelled carers visits at 2pm & 5pm as there is nothing for them to do here :)

They were due here at 9am today - arrived at 10.15am....

    Vs M
    1x Young's Whole Scampi (220G) £4.48 £2.00

Way too expensive! Kiltie Scampi Bites (220g) was £1 in M - now £3:eek: - currently onto Ross Scampi Bites (220g) in Iceland at £1.

However... the Young's version says £2.95 on a.com but they paid £4.48:eek::eek: - if the SEL says £2.95, but if it goes through at £4.48, it could be a GC which would make it somewhat better. Nonetheless, if you find a SEL at £2.95, it could go through at £2.95:(, depending on the store - I have had a similar experience earlier today.

Msm says Sains is also £2 - however, this does not work out very well against Sains. - APG currently picking up Sains at £4:eek:, so only vs M gives the £2 competitor price (sorry Northern Ireland).

With that "good on a womble" comp. vs M, the APG was 67p:(. Would have been £1.60 more if they had not bought these (vs M):
    2x Barefoot Pink Moscato (75CL) £11.00 £14.00:mad:

    A further £1.15 lost:(:
    1x Crisp 'n Dry Vegetable Oil (2L) £2.00 £3.50

And a further £1.27 or so got subtracted here:
2x Cadbury Dairy Milk Giant Buttons Chocolate Bag (119G) £2.00 £3.64:(
