I make it net £1.97 vs T
Shame the freezer is so full... I had to defrost ours to fit everything in :rotfl:#CHEEKY :cool:0 -
2 carrot chunks savvy!
one weighted at checkout, one weighed on the in-store scales
That's how they count as 2 separate items!:T I was going to say, if you get the right 1p carrot, just 2g - I know people sometimes get zero pence carrots, I've no idea how they do that - it even compares vs 1p rounded down for M and therefore is same across the board:
0.02x ASDA Loose Carrot (order by number of carrots or select kg) (PER KG) £0.01 £0.01
A 60p/kg, M 75p/kg or something like that (tbh I don't always pay attention to remember the price on them as I know they are somewhat more expensive - so, if you bought too much, but bought enough items, it would start to lose out against M and subtract a little from the APG if your shopping was otherwise 'best' vs M).
My Easter eggs shopping earlier worked - I went a bit overboard though:eek: and had ten different items on the comparison. Of course I'm a little disappointed now they've all appeared as it now turns out I didn't have to buy them all - but I made extra sure I had enough items proportionate to the amount of possible loss.
Got tempted by some biscuits:(:
1x ASDA SmartPrice Milk Chocolate Digestives (300G) £0.44 £0.44
1x ASDA Chosen By You Garibaldi (200G) £0.88 £0.60
That's the downside when you remember all the prices of items at the competitor! However, we will definitely use all of the items, so in that sense I didn't buy too much. I absolutely love Garibaldi biscuits - and of course saw them and the perfect opportunity to compare against T. This will just have people buying Choc. Biscuits and Garibaldi biscuits now, that no-one would ever have bought if I'd not posted this - so it just ensures A sell more:( (and people pay more money!). In a sense though it was a shop where I didn't buy too much as I missed the A mbuy and only bought the one pack of Garibaldis! Presumably can put one on the next shop against T:( and reuse the item as one towards eight on a new shop in future but just ending up spending more money again:rotfl:.
Nothing to report on the eggs - I stuck to the 'safe', tried and tested Wispa and Twirl from earlier, wishing I'd got others that have been confirmed since instead, as I like those even more, but we will like the Wispa and Twirl (and TC:D) anyway.0 -

How's you PD? x0 -
I don't know what system my As are on with the APGs - sometimes they work, sometimes they don't:(. Started avoiding the store where nothing appears to scan through without requiring approval - but didn't go completely plain-sailing at the other store now. It cancelled the amount off after it had deducted - kept putting the bill back up to the original amount:(. So, had to have manual approval again. Didn't appear as APG but didn't even appear as "Manuf. coupon" either - it now appeared as "Sada voucher". :huh:Never seen that one before! Just wondering what the SA did (to make it show that way).0

I have a confession to make - we had a decommissioned freezer in the garage waiting for sale ... it has been brought back into service ... and I even had permission :A.
I am pleased to confirm (... and relieved, as I gambled and bought them ...) that a slimline freezer will hold 16 complete meal deals from empty
In my defence, this will last a while (as reserves) and the pizzas and wedges we would have been buying over time anyway, therefore this is a good saving.

£5 meal deal cabinet has changed to B&J, Aunt Bessie's Home Style Chips 900g and Youngs Chip Shop 4 Large Cod Fillets 480g.
Currently instore getting a pizza shop in before midnight.

Nice to have some variety come along:). Looks like it's back to pretty much around the same cost as it was initially vs M on the previous deal at the outset. Nowhere near as good as the last day. But, still. I looks like B&J back to £4 vs £2.50 comp. (vs T). Home Style Chips looks N/A so not the few pence of 'not 10% cheaper' that came vs M initially on the pizza. But the Cod £3.98 vs £3.00 T - a bit better than the old £1.85 vs £1 on the wedges previously against M so, probably, more or less the same as the initial M comp. on the old deal - perhaps a bit better. And open to N.Ireland this time!:D
With B&J set to continue in T on £2.50 until the end of the first week of March, it looks like A may have extended it a bit as (what looks like) the old deal was otherwise due to end vs M by 1st or 2nd March. However, then :doh:we would have switched back to the T comp. (though not as good) anyway - or N.Ireland would always have been on that.
The new meal deal could get better if offers elsewhere switch around.0 -

Sounds like they put it through as a paper gift voucher
Do you always check the expiry date is 28 days from claiming date? or how else would you know it's not been used before... mute point now though as they appear to be locking the voucher to the account it was first claimed on.#CHEEKY :cool:0 -
I hope you have your Elite badge on.
Only an Elite would go out in the middle of the night shopping surely.
No badge necessary, I was undercover... well apart from the multi shops in my trolley and then on the self-scan conveyor "may" have drawn attention .
This was an early shop as home by midnight :A.
