I'm not a fan of neutral anything
but that's just me. I'm usually looking for plain shoes because I'm wearing a busy dress.
I hope you are well mhoc. I've not been keeping up with your shenanigans or your child tracking activities lately. My own children have been taking up any spare time I have. Orchestra tours, parties, GCSE options and general neediness. I'm embracing it because all too soon it'll be gone.
GCSE options - I remember the miseries if it very well. At the time our school made you choose between Geography and History which was rubbish as most would have been happy with both. Everyone had to do Art wether they liked it or not. The only language was French and that was compulsory as well - Spanish would have been more useful or even Welch seeing as we are close to the border ...
You have not missed many sheninagins, I've not been about much either
Eldest child and BF have come to the realisation that weddings take a lot of planning so it looks like next year now. In the meantime last month something at work came up and everything went on hold for 3 weeks whilst they contemplated a move to Canada but this was capped.
Eldest son was down near Portsmouth doing a promotions course for which he should have had a £5k pay rise. Now he has the rank but no pay risehe is back in his normal base now.
Him and his GF are off to Iceland in March
Youngest son is still driving me crackers even though he is on the other side of the world“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Youngest son turned 24 today
I know that is not even possible
So I sent him a message at midnight last night. He is out in Hong Kong so he had already been 24 for 8 hours
As always he had no interest in us, home or anything else, just wanted to know about the little stray cat we had last week that we eventually had to take to our local RSPCA cattery so we had a long conversation about the cat - first long conversation for ages apart from ones to do with sorting out his finances
Then of course afterwards I could not get to sleep, half past 2 and I was wide awake. All 3 cats were with us, a sure indication of a cold night and usually if you concentrate on the purring it helps you to stop mind racing and relax enough to drop off but it didn't last night.
So I will be the walking dead this morning and it's still freezing but the postie might come with presents today for me so I have to get clothes on and look presentable“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
