If we look at the 'new' items I have, none of which stand any chance of working on the APG at the moment if it is not updated yet, then we can see - I'm just doing this from memory at the moment so it may be slightly out - that a lot of them are not on msm at all for M.

I think what I mean is, I know that to maximise the APG you buy the glitchy items and then x number of items at 10p for example.
I thought that by buying the cat food at 50p cheaper (or so I thought) in A's that I wouldn't lose out on as much of the APG.
I needed cat food, and didn't want to do a "muggle" shop as well as a glitchy one (partly laziness, and partly nervousness!)
Does that make sense?

Now I think I understand that I can't trust MSM too much.
