It's usually that a product isn't sold online by M but that it does have it instore. Therefore the app. will show "---" for M and can't be relied on. Given that I thought M might well have Garlic & Herb Flatbread, I have done a search on m.com and it immediately returned items including M's Kitchen Garlic Flatbread (255g). This seems to be the product to which this is comparing to - the weight adjustment on the M price for two (it is clearly within 10% either way from A's product) works out at about £2.78. Looking at the picture of the product on m.com - and it has also made it through to msm - it does show that it is Garlic and Herb. I think it's because it's described as "Garlic Flatbread" that it hasn't been linked though to A's "Garlic & Herb Flatbread" on msm. Therefore, the A product fails to show any price for M and vice versa. The descriptions have caused the website (and then the app.) to think the products are not comparable when they are. If prices for M were taken from online and if they used msm, then, with this situation, this would return N/A against M. However, M prices are collected instore and the price collectors have linked A's Garlic & Herb Flatbread with M's Garlic Butter & Herbs Flatbread. The A product therefore compares against M and sadly this seems correct.
I can't see any weight at all for the A product on msm - although it is, clearly, 245g from your comparison and on a.com.
It shows a price for T for me on msm - I don't have any price showing for S. T's version, which is on special offer and is currently £1, is 255g - so it is within weight range too - is the A product comparing against T at about 96p each? TIA.0 -
