I think there isn't a lot of change in M today. However, I think, for people in England/Wales/Scotland, the meal deal may be about to get even better - the Chicago Takeaway pizzas have gone down to £2.50 in M:rotfl:. So I think this may get better in a couple of days' time and then might then continue like that for about a week.
I was so excited by that I nearly abandoned the price collection half-way through! McCain Lightly Spiced Wedges are still £1:T - supposed to be until 28/2:D. And Ben & Jerry's ice cream £2 until 28/2:D. A complete set! A nice hat-trick!:D:D:rotfl: I think M has just made their own meal deal, which has started today, rather even more pointless.
So, stop buying meal deals! You're paying too much:rotfl:! Delay on them and wait a little bit. If you are in England, Wales or Scotland, you should never have bought any of them until later this week:rotfl:.
However, this will not work if you are on CC/HD and if your online system makes the pizza "free". It will then appear as N/A vs N/A, although it will seemingly count as an item:(. This must therefore at least in those areas (possibly everywhere?) be done instore only, otherwise you will lose the pizza comp. to potential £2.50 M (does not work yet - needs to wait for M prices to be updated approx. Wednesday). We don't want free pizza - we want nice, expensive charged-for pizza appearing at individual price, but pay deal price, as we know the more expensive items really work out the cheapest!0 -
