and thank you to Karlie for making us aware of gorgeous Gammon xxxxxxx
I hardly had any money but knew I had a voucher that was due to expire so used that and a couple of large pieces went through a treat at £3 a pop.
Went back to the car and put my hand in my pocket and lo and behold a crisp £10 note appeared, just like magic......Hubby had given me the change when we were in B & Q yesterday and I had forgotten.
So all in all feel top of the world as now have four ginormous pieces and my son paid his rent up front for the rest of the year so gas bill is paid off too :T:T:T

That's what the elite is all about - not putting random tenners in your pocket but making every penny stretch as far as possible :T

Well OH got the call back from sky but as he was going through security his lost the mobile signal

so we waited for the caller to ring back but it never happened so we rang instead.

somewhere a box has now been ticked and the BT open reach engineers will sometime this week now be digging the hole and trying to fix our duff telephone line. another call back has been arranged for Friday night

so that will be then 3 weeks without a phone line. the phone rings but when you pick it up it wont connect through

we still have broadband but the girl said sometimes they drop the speed to protect the line, we were only working at 2.5mb to start with

after a bit of a struggle I did manage to do a line speed and we are now working at 0.64mb - yes such a speed does exist but if you google it there seems to be only one street in the uk slower than us apart from ones totally off line
