I am almost excited with you Nanny, I remember our Egyptian trip quite vividly, it was amazing.

I have to say once more, if you get the chance go to Abu Simbel, it was an extra on our cruise and it was amazing :D The temples are so atmospheric, you can feel the people from all those years ago :D Anything you want to ask I shall try to wrack my memory for you :D

Thank-you E ...I am not sure if that trip is included on our package but will certainly do it if it is not ...am really excited as have been watching a lot of programmes on Telly that seem to have popped up recently about Eygpt and their culture .I have not been abroad for about 5 years but when this opportunity arose I grabbed it with both hands as Nannylala's sort of holiday :Tgoing to Spain and places laying on the beach all day is not my idea of fun :(give me culture any day .

Plenty of culture in that Nanny :D Plenty of early rises too :eek: I think we had to get up at about 3 am to go to Abu Simbel, a lot of early rises but some lazy afternoons/evening. You are making me want to go again.

I thought going on a Nile Cruise would satisfy my curiosity about Ancient Egypt but it left me wanting more and more! It is incredible.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

    Evening

If you are referring to what I said that FC continuing to respond to nerfy's snidy remarks is childish.I'll stick by that.

For anybody else responding I will say that you are giving him the ammunition to continue and make out he is the good guy.

Ignore is best. You won't miss anything .He doesn't contribute anything worthwhile.

I think the majority know what the score is here and know that pretense comes in many guises. However I do believe that there is also astounding naivety from others about some situations here or maybe they just think they shouldn't comment for fear of not hearing about glitches. I do hope it's not the latter as life is far more important than how many tubes of toothpaste or bottles of shampoo anyone has stashed away.
What's very apparent though is how this thread and some posters have been easily manipulated in recent months.

    So true rhosynbacg
We know of a lot of families where the siblings go off the rails because the parents are only thinking of the ill child and the try to get attention as negative attention is still attention :o we have made a great effort to make sure that doesn't happen as its too easy to just concentrate on the 1 child :) my wife's sister is a prime example of this and we are just learning from her parents mistakes:o they think they are lucky having a brother like ds3 as they get extra holidays and trips:o:rotfl:

Hello from Geneva :D they have chicken nuggets here :D I have happy boys.

THIS! Everyone is entiled to their opinion but there are innocent people who have did nothing getting hurt by this behaviour. Nerfy isn't a court Jester, he's a bully who uses lots of smileys and happy stories to cover up what he's doing.

if the people he doesn't like post he has a go. If they don't post he still has a go. I'm not sure what he's trying to achieve either.

Savvy Sal I am disappointed by your view but I respect that you're entitled to it. if more people challenged this sort of bullying behaviour rather than telling everyone to ignore it, it wouldn't go unchecked. That's just my opinion. How many of us would let our kids be bullied unmercilessly in this way?

I am on holiday and I won't be checking in again until I'm home. But I will be checking in again because I won't be chased off because someone doesn't like me or what I have to say. The way everyone has ignored this behaviour is shocking.

The elite I joined had our moments and our arguments but we were never bullied into a corner where we were too scared that the peace would be ruined we all turned our backs and ignored blatant bullying.

See you all next week :lovethoug

Spot on as usual FC! :T

I don't see nerfy's posts unless someone quotes them, it's been like that for a couple of years ;)...I suggest every one does the same. happy days :)
