Wondering if anyone can give me some advice to this situation.
I'm on a residential mortgage (now just gone onto SVR) though had written constent to let on a residential mortage. I used to let it out, but no more. The tennant left a few months ago & I now taken the house back in 2015.
Ok I did forgot to inform santender this as it didn't make any difference to the mortage payments.
I approached Santender for a new deal recently & they want to push me to buy to let & working on the basis I am still letting and refusing to offer a residential deal. I asked them how can I get it removed and they said they are not prepared to remove that letting marker.
What do I have to do to prove this go to a solictor and swear an oath? What evidence can I provide bills, invite them around for a cuppa?
They also said they would not allow any other lender to have a charge on the property.
Is this true are they allowed to say that?
