Is it worth

Moving to the HSBC for the 10 quid cashback offer (Quidco)?

Ive just looked at there lousy interest rates, but to be honest even A&L when ive had a decent balance hasnt really give me that much interest, maybe a pound a month, that equates to 10 months interest.

Im just thinking of a short term thing, as I want to cancel my A&L, and this is the only other cashback offer.

Are any banks doing sign up bonuses at the moment?

Have you checked out other cashback sites like pigsback, ipoints etc they may have other deals with more points that equate to a better deal?

Kevicho - have you already taken up the First Direct offer? It's a £100 incentive!

This bit about £1,500 a month salary could be a drawback, mines just slightly under that :S depending on month and expenses
  • First Direct are HSBC!!! And they're evil to boot... I'm running away from them as fast as I can.

Just been charged 54 quid for going 2.30 over my limit... they draw you in... then spit you out! lol

You have to work out who's best for you in the long term, cash incentives rarely work out as a good deal.

I know, ive decided im going to go for a graduate account with lloyds, 2K interest free overdraft here i come :)
  • lol i'd keep my money under my mattress if i could... they're all horrible! Lloyds were good to me as a student/graduate, as were natwest... steady on piling up the overdraft debt though! They can be cruel when it's time to graduate/find work.....
