'Someone that was isnt me' was speeding (~10kmh) over the limit in the south today and there was a fully marked garda car sitting at a roundabout with his laser/rader.
Have the powers that be got thier act together with regards to cross border points for speeding yet? The only artice I could find was from 2014 saying not yet.
Don't mind the fine, just would rather not have the points.

Don't bother thinking about it. They have no control over you apart from the power of arrest. If you weren't stopped at the time, it's not going to happen now. Even if you had been stopped and charged, they can't make you pay a fine after you've gone.
