CCA Request

Good afternoon,
I am sure that this question will have been raised before, if it has can you point to the right thread.
Anyway I am in the process of sending CCA requests. To two Barclaycard accounts that probably go back to about 2005/6, Hsbc flexiloan back to 2006 (which is now held by Moorcroft). Amongst others Virgin (MBNA) at the moment looked after by Capquest and Next Directory (Debt Manager - Services)
I was wondering if anybody had experience of dealing with the above.
Also I wasn't sure what a CCA actually looked like until I saw one scanned on a different sight. To my recollection when we applied for credit, we did it online (like most people obviously). I do remember seeing these forms come through the post, but to the best of my knowledge I don't remember sending them back. If I didn't does this make any difference to my CCA request?
Hope that doesn't sound too vague!

Hi,
It might do, it depends if they kept there copys or not.
There's no requirement to produce a document with a signiture on it, basically you'll just have to wait and see what they respond with.

Hi City1
As you signed the agreements online, one would expect these companies to still be able to produce copies as they ought to be have been stored digitally. It doesn't hurt to ask, though.

Just received my wife CCA agreement from Barclaycard. I am confused!
They have sent a "reconstituted copy of your credit agreement..."
What should I be looking for, should I be looking for a signature?
All help appreciated!0 -
Hi
To comply with your CCA request the creditor only needs to provide you with a reconstituted copy of your credit agreement, sometimes known as a ‘true copy’. That means it should contain all of the same terms and conditions of your original agreement, plus some other details such as your name and address at the time you took it out. It doesn’t have to be the actual original agreement with your signature though.
