.... If your saving for a house then surely it won't be a huge issue because you will get the overtime, the same with future overtime, it will eventually be paid so can then be added to your savings.what does your contact say about overtime payment? Is there something in it that could explain the delay? Speak directly to payroll yourself if you haven't already.0

It was i think november december and january, and like i say lucjily iv had enough to pay my holiday otherwise i couldnt of gone, i think thats not the point its owed and it shouldve been paid they have a new system which hasnt recorded it but in my opinion i should have it paid now then and not another month, from a big and reputable company too, i will be ringing payroll again tommorow!0

I agree that it should have been paid by now, at least for the earliest amounts due, but I am afraid that neither my opinion nor yours count for much. Unless the employer agrees to pay it earlier then it would take longer to take legal action to obtain it, and they aren't likely to take kindly to the threat or the fact of legal action against them.0

I just wanted to say im doing no more overtime thats all untill iv had the money, but hard when were short staffed0

Next time your area manager comes in ask them if the new overtime system problems have been resolved . A sneaky way of finding out if there really is a glitch or if your manager is an idiot.

But if you are saving, isn't cutting off your nose to spite your face? You can refuse when they want it now - but find that later, when you want it, they have someone else to do it.0
