Ccj

Last year we got ourselves into trouble, I lost my job we defaulted on our loan couldn't pay back ended up with a ccj.

After I managed to get another job we entered into a repayment plan of £15 per week. we submitted all of our bank statements pay slips etc and they decided this was the figure we could afford without us going without food etc.

After 6 months I got found another job better wage so I began to pay £40 a week, I didn't ring or arrange this with them as I assumed they wouldn't mind?

However I've had another letter asking me yet again to produce bank statements etc can they ask for all this stuff again?

The only reason I don't want to do this as the bank accounts we use are online, I cancelled all the paper statements and for me to get these it would cost me around £45 for the 3 bank accounts? I have already rang to ask if printed out statements are ok and they said no as has to have name/address on which a printed out one doesn't

So my question really is if we have agreed a payment plan can they ask us to produce all these again to reassess?

  • Yes the court got bank statements last year to agree a payment amount which was accepted by both myself and the creditor. I then increased this payment off my own back after getting a better paid job as I want to repay the debt as quick as possible. The creditor is now demanding bank statements to reassess.

    Thanks

You can simply print your bank statement out.

Name, address, account details, are ALL automatically included in the statements.

  • I have already printed one lot out and my name and address aren't on it? Is there something I need to do to get it on there? The one I've done is a post office account if that helps?

I also don't understand why I have to do this all again

    Thanks

Just print it on a seperate sheet with the banks header and account details on it, easy to do with a little editing !!
