From my understanding the goods are actually in transit but i have been advised to refused delivery......all of this was confirmed....i just dont know my rights at the moment. if i owed them money surely they would hold me to the fact i signed an agreement.........
You have signed the agreement (e signature), the bank/lender won't have as the only sign when they pay out/activate the agreement. You cannot hold them accountable when only you signed the agreement (subject to 14 day cooling off period). So they could hold you to the agreement after they sign it, but you cannot hold them to the agreement if they haven't.0 -
Thanks so in principle i cannot do anything to resolve this.
Is there any reason they would refuse to send me a copy of the agreement I have read that they are legally obliged to do so.
The attitude of this company was disgraceful as well, and more over I know for a fact the retailer has been misled.
Is there any point me making a complaint?0 -
You can make a complaint if you so wish, but I don't think it will get you anywhere.
They will refuse to send you a copy of the agreement, because there is no agreement. The acceptance has been rescinded.0 -
Thanks very much again.
I will have to draw a line under this then.
What would happen if the good are delivered tomorrow and accepted the delivery, I wouldnt do this but in principle they should be checking before items are dispatched.
many thanks again for everyone input..
very helpful.0 -
The supplier you received the goods from would demand immediate payment in full. Should you not pay, then they could pursue payment, incl. through Debt Collection Agencies and the courts.0
