I know there is - but the op can't amend it can he? What else can he enter in the box but £0.00?

    Sorry!

But you are self-employed not employed. This question should not even be arising. What figure can you change it to if you are not employed?

I haven't tried it. It says you can make an amendment. I've clicked YES anyway. Not sure why it arose. I've been self employed for a bit.

Some things that COULD have caused it?
    - I moved address during the tax year
    - a previous tax year (last or one befure ), I made an error and paid 50% more tax which I got a refund for

    No other changes
  • Still weird - still you have got to the next page. Think I remember you from this time last year

Yes. I usually forget stuff and have made a calculation error befure so always nervous.
And then a question like this pops up which I've never seen it can understand.
So I'm. Definitely right to click yes?
  • I repeat - you can't click 'No' unless you have an alternative figure. You haven't
