Aiming to run down the contents of the freezer more, there is some space appearing, would like to defrost one of the 3 by the end of the month.
Kids now have the chance to request meals for the menu, max 1 per week each and I try to fill the rest with freezer meals, this week the requests were nasi goreng and fish & chips and one is from the freezer - bonus!0 -
I just had a check of my bank balance and did a little shocked face, haven't been as on top of things as I'd like this weekend! Need to keep things lean this week, so...
Breakfasts: overnight oats for me, porridge fingers & fruit for the baby, OH can sort himself (but usually porridge)
Lunches:
I'm going to make this lentil, tomato, sausage & cavolo nero recipe for Tuesday and Wednesday: http://www.nzherald.co.nz/lifestyle/news/article.cfm?c_id=6&objectid=11196058 (I've got two sausages and some cavolo nero in the fridge that need eating, so that's pretty perfect!)
Thursday: at home with the baby, so we'll likely have cheese sandwiches and fruit
Friday: leftovers from Thursday tea
Teas:
Mon: veg fajitas (packet mix in cupboard)
Tues: spaghetti & turkey meatballs & garlic bread
Weds: pizza
Thurs: Jack Monroe's gigantes plaki
Fri: leftovers frittata
And then the weekend will no doubt be a law unto itself...0 -
