how do i get rid of overdraft

hi,

I thought i could use a balance transfer of 0% to start to get rid of my o/d of £1,800, however didn't realise this isn't the case for debit accounts -or do you guys know of any,
Many thanks for advice!

    Sorry, bit confused - when you say a debit acc, do you mean like a regular current acc or something different?

    College - £460
    Catalogue - £180 :eek: :eek: :eek:

    target debt free date 29/08/09 + save for my wedding!! :T

    It is possible to BT to a current account if you use the right credit card.

    The MBNA stable of cards and the eggmoney CC will allow BT to your current account although you will usually pay a fee (2-3% is typical). Also some cards issue CC cheques that can be paid into your current account.

    And of course you can use a 0% card on spending to simply buy your usual purchases and so reduce your OD.

    However, whatever you do you must reduce your spending so you can pay the CC off before the 0% runs out.
