Sainsbury's PPI reclaim

Hey.....haven't been on the forums for quite a few years. Moved abroad but am still servicing one debt in the UK

I have now received a letter from Bank of Scotland regarding 2 old (and settled) Sainsbury's loans asking me to claim PPI. I successfully claimed PPI a few years ago (using the templates on here) but didn't include these loans for some reason.

My question is, can I still claim the PPI? I think the loans were taken out in about 2004 or 2005 and settled (via the PPI settlement I received) in 2011.

If I can, should I complete these Bank of Scotland forms? I'm not sure why they are involved actually. Or do I try to claim the PPI myself again?

Thanks in advance .for any responses and apologies for all the questions.

That would be a strange letter. Are you sure it says that? I suspect its more likely to be a CCL inviting you to make a complaint if you feel you were mis-sold. If they knew you were mis-sold then then they wouldnt ask you. They would be obliged to review it without needing your permission.

You can still raise your complaint on the ones that were not looked at before.

Far more logical to use their forms. If you prefer to write your own letter then you can. However, if you dont cover the points in their forms then it may hold things up. It is all handled by the same people whether you use their forms or do your own letter.

Haha.....you're absolutely correct. They aren't asking me to claim the PPI (would be nice tho eh?) :rotfl:

Thanks for the advice....will try to fill in the (very detailed) forms.
