    Will go for St pancras direct journeys using oyster cards with contactless in reserve


    I understand should cost us £8 each per journey providing do not stray into peak times, which I note means should start journey pre 1600 (M to F) or do we need to complete journey by 1600?

    Touching in before 1600 is sufficient; it doesn't matter when the train leaves or when you finish your journey (within sensible maximums, of course!)
