Sangie595 - Would you think it would be ok to get my current manager to put it in writing about my 2nd job and would you think that would be ok in my new role?

I know he won't have a problem with that.
Your current manger has nothing to do with it. This is a new job - it needs to be the new manager. But that is sort of irrelevant - the manager can't change the terms of the job and it's the terms you object to. You can't cherry pick. Sort it as an issue. One issue. The terms of the job are either acceptable or not.
