Ps4 no hdmi -> Scart/VGA/Coaxial

Options
I have just bought a PS4 and now don't have a budget for a new tv with HDMI - I have an old monitor/tv with coaxial (old aerial), vga and scart connections.

I get that using this won't use the ps4 HD to it fullest but is there anything i can buy to connect this in the interim?

Thanks

    It maybe possible but youtube is your friend or even google.

    Here
  • a cheap TV with a HDMI port will probably cost around £200-£300 (or wait for a sale in a store) but if you only want it to get the most out of the HDMI connection, look on ebay for cheap second hand TVs.

    cash on collection would be best as you can ask to see the tv working before you hand over the cash / double check it has correct ports

    look on ebay / gumtree / freecyle, people often give old TVs away. Our TV is a pretty old flat screen (about 8 years old) and that has HDMI, so i imagine you could find one for next to nothing if youre not being fussy
  • You can get hdmi to vga cables fom amazon... I got one just the other day. That would connect you up for now.

    That will only carry the video signal though, not the sound

    I have got one of these cables and can access the sound via the 3.5mm jack onto a set of speakers/headphones. It got around my lack of hdmi sockets ( and lack of internal speakers!)

    We have just sold a 32 inch flat screen Sony tele for £30 on Gumtree, for my parents it was 7-8 years old and with prices the way they are nobody would take it for £50. The cables will probably cost £10.
