  • So re-purposed 3 bottles of shower gel to wash clothes. I was shocked when i merged 3 X 250 ml bottle and they all fit into a 630 ml bottle. The original measures must have been off. At least the clothes will be smelling nice.

in spf 50 bioderm- needed as the seasons get nicer. I searched high and low for a nice one. I hate LRP tinted as it's rather deep on me. It has a slight tint very subtle.

also in four lipsticks (2- NYX and 2 rimmel)
one concealer rimmel and 2 nyx lip pencils.
    but they were half price

2 more UUs from my PO list:-

LE Eyebright. Once again I finished this off as an eye soak as my eyes felt so sore today. Hope this was the last bottle in my stash as don't really like this product and only have ever received it in a kit or as a GWP.

TBS 3 in 1 mask. WDNBA. Was one of Emma's products. It did sting a couple of times that I used it.

Sorry ladies I have some INs as the Birchbox arrived today. Am really impressed by it:-

    Spectrum tapered powder brush
    LIC eyeshadow stick. Lovely colour
Ole Henrickson collagen booster. Looking forward to trying this.
Cochine hand and body lotion. Smells nice.
The Balm Frat Noy blusher. Very small sample however suits Emma's skin tone better than mine.
Deem Eyes make up remover wipe. Emma took this to use.

Will need to shop in my stash for an eye makeup remover and mask.

Have cut open the C&P today though there is tonnes of product left. The IBST will run out very soon as will my PCMC but I have more in my stash.

  • Hello everyone

Really enjoying hearing about the repurposing and using up. Always gives me some ideas.
    Some UUs
Charlotte rys soap this was from a gorgeous safari lodge ages ago (those were the days) and I didn't want to use it because the smell reminded me of the trip, but it was time, and the smell had faded.

Emma Hardie Amazing Face body butter 200ml very rich, lasted ages wba

Atkinson’s Rose in Wonderland EDT I liked this, but not enough to consider buying.

Kneipp herbal bath back comfort devil’s claw 20ml I was using this as a nice pregnancy soak, seemed quite soothing and had a really nice smell. I was sceptical about Kneipp products at first, but now I've tried a few and found them all to do what they say, I've actually purchased a full size lavender bath salts in preparation for post natal recovery.

Been swimming again tonight, UU a few more sample size products.

Hotel shampoo 30ml- Wnba it was a freebie anyway. Can't remember the name but I didn't like the smell of this, it was like an alcopop but not in a good way. It had a weird boozy smell that reminded me of the dodgy cheap alcohol I had at uni that made me very sick :o. It was fine as a shampoo after swimming but wouldn't be bothered about using it again glad I've got it UU.

Loreal extraordinary oil sachet- WBA as a full size although it's quite pricey. Don't need to at present as have 2x Pantene oil to finish and also got my eye on a Garnier oil. This smelled nice and does a good job it can also be used as a hair mask.

Tresemme youth boost conditioner sachet- Wnba it was fine and smelled nice enough but i don't need this type of conditioner and tresemme tends to make my hair very oily from experience. There's other conditioners I prefer more but it was fine as a sachet to use up.

L'occitane shower gel 3 essential oils 50ml- Wnba me and mum used this up tonight between us. Nice enough but I'm not hugely keen on the scent of this so wouldn't get it as a full size. Think this is my last one of these so I can as you guys say "shop my stash" for another bottle of shower gel for my swimming kit :)

    My first Feb UU!

    11) Vichy Nutrilogie 2 cream - WNBA as the texture was horrible and I didn't feel it did anything for my skin.

As predicted I UUed my IBST last night. I decant the full sized 200ml bottle into a 30ml spritzer bottle. This was the last of a full sized. Have another in stash although I also have a Sample sized Mario Badescu one that I'll use first. Once I've finished the last IBST I think I'm going to try a Lush toner.

  • VALM - I really love the Breath of Fresh Air Lush toner but I haven't tried any of their other spray toners so can't compare.

    One use up to report

Carex hand wash 750ml bottle - this was given to me by someone else who didn't like the big bottle but had it delivered by tesco as an alternative. It makes me realise how much I prefer solid soap - WNBA

    Another UU for me :-

Rituals Tai Chi foaming shower gel. Came in a beauty box. Probably about 100ml size. Lovely product. Felt ver rich and moisturising even for a foaming cleanser. Maybe buy again.

  • Final figures for January are 15 Outs and 10 Ins - fell for the Boots triple points thing. The ins were bargains, honestly . . .

I have set myself an easy PP for February to ease myself in:
    - Soap & Glory lime body scrub mini Gone!
    - No 7 Sand eyeshadow, bought in 2007
    - Rimmel Stay Matte primer - nearly done
    - Sanctuary Spa Heel Balm - nearly done Gone!
    - L'oreal extraordinary oil cream - lots of progress!

Lots of progress and no INs in February! Should have been more ambitious! I also used up a tube of No7 foaming face wash that I hated. It has been in the bathroom for at least 2 years and it turned out only to have one use left in it . . . why didn't I do that years ago?!

I am SO tempted to start on the beauty boxes, especially with ValM getting such interesting stuff from Birchbox. Must stay strong . . .
