Smelly !!!!! problem

Our neighbours cat keeps doing poo's on our garden ! Does anyone know of a solution that is low cost and low effort which does not involve blood shed ?

    cats dont poop where they sleep and eat when i was growing up our neighbour cat was encourage to relax and lye in the sun in our garden so then he didnt ise it as a toilet and other cats didnt come in as it was his terrotory, otherwise they dislike orange, mint, rflectors, and if all else falls get a water gun and squirt them if you spot them it shocks them into leaving and dioesnt hurt them

    Empty plastic pop/water bottles half filled with water and laid down on their side - I believe they don't like the reflection or something like that.

    Ground pepper works as they hate sneezing - plus its quite cheap too, just sprinkle around any obvious cosy places.

    I second this ... I bought a catering size pack of pepper and sprinkled it all over the garden and had nothing since.
