Looking for these foods.
Hi! Can you tell me please where to find:
1) italian-like salami with edible casing
2) olives marinated with regular vinegar
3) salty cheese
Anyone know what to search for to get these? I can't find any of that in Tesco! I only found the salami, but its casing is not edible.

Not surprised by Tesco not doing it. They only tend to sell the popular stuff.
You could look in Waitrose.
They seem to do a broader range of products. Seen things in there which I have never seen elsewhere.
Go to their website and do a search.
Only other place I could suggest is to find a local delicatessen which by your description should be an Italian one.The more I live, the more I learn.

Try Waitrose or Selfridges or similar delicatessons.
Most Olives are in brine (saltwater), they might have a small amount of vinegar in the marinade, but its not normally the main ingrediant http://www.belazu.com/ingredients/pitted-harlequin-olives/
Deli counter will usually have some form of salami such as http://www.waitrose.com/shop/DisplayProductFlyout?productId=84139
All cheese contains salt. How salty it tastes is personal taste preferance really (I pick up on salt really easily, others can add loads and hardly taste it). I used to work on a cheese counter and cheese was never sold as being "salty". Some cheeses might taste a little more salty than others but you'd have to try every single one until you found what you wanted. Better to go to a cheese counter knowing roughly what you want (eg sharp chedder, mushroomy brie, mature and earthy wensleydale) and then give it a taste.0 -
Hi, we move threads if we think they’ll get more help elsewhere (please read the forum rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.
I’ve moved your thread from the ‘I wanna’ board to the ‘Food Shopping & Groceries’ board, where it is better suited.
