Sansa e280 - 8Gb MP3 & Video Player down to £89.99

The 8 Gb Sandisk Sansa e280 is down to £89.99 at amazon.co.uk

Its expandable by another 2Gb and having bought a 6Gb model from Amazon for my Mum when they were selling them for £66 I can confirm they are one of the easiest players to use. Not quite iAudio X5 quality but they sound better than my X5 replacement, the Creative Zen Vision M. No mains charger but supplied with a USB cable to charge via your PC. The blue wheel control works well.

The Creative Zen V+ 8GB is also down to £99.99 which Amazon state is 38% off.

...and I've just remembered I saw the Creative Zen V 1GB for £29.99 in Staples Watford on Saturday but they have none in Salisbury.

Some links would have been nice. :) It's listed at under £79 on Amazon UK.

Sorry that there wasn't a link and people that were interested had to spend an extra three seconds pasting in the words Sansa e280 into their browser.:lipsrseal

Beware that the above poster's cheaper price is not from Amazon but from an Amazon merchant, the accessory-shop.

And why couldn't you buy one and send it to me for nothing. Oh and come round with some cds and put them on the player. Then you could make my tea, do a spot of cleaning etc.etc. ;)

Why is it that they should "beware"(be aware)?

What I am wondering, is why this post is on this particular sub-forum.

The price of £89.99 is not time limited, nor is it even the cheapest available.

How is it "Moneysaving" to suggest that one should beware of buying the item for less?
Should be moved to Shop until....

Nevertheless, had spotted the player some time ago.

If you can indeed get e280 for cheaper please provide a link or say where it is available.

Buying goods for Amazon Market place is very similar to buying from Ebay. There is no real guarantee that the product is genuine and if the product breaks within a year or 2 unless the market place seller is a business you will probably not get a refund or replacement.

You also have to add at least £4.50 on to the market place sellers price for delivery. For just £5 extra you get the reassurance of buying from a genuine product with a full warranty from Amazon.

  • Looks to me like a good deal. £10 off their previous price and for 8gb is excellent value for money. Last time they did this with the 6gb version it only lasted about week and then the price went back up.

It's great here with all these people correcting grammar and spelling!

Beware - To be on guard against

If that's not appropriate then what is. :)

No comments thanks Donnie apart from where your marvellous cheaper price is. And I'm wondering how you manage to spot this deal on Amazon when they only lowered their price a few days ago. I can't find a cheaper price anywhere unless you've visited the Sansa Outlet Store in Singapore.

    Sigh...

The marvellous cheaper price, as you put it, was within the original link.

If you had read what I had said exactly.....
Nevertheless, had spotted the player some time ago.

In other words, I have been aware of this particular machine for some time.

Yes, I am in Asia at the moment. Would you like me to source you one for less than the price above?

    Wild imaginations here.
