1. Only open to legal residents of Great Britain, The Channel Islands and The Isle of Man aged 18 or over, excluding residents of Northern Ireland, employees of Telegraph Media Group Limited and its group companies, Avios Group Limited, British Airways Plc. and American Express, their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with this Promotion.

2. Enter between 12.00 GMT on 28th January 2016 and 23.59 GMT on 10th February 2016 (“Promotion Period”).

3. No purchase necessary; however internet access is required.

5. Maximum one entry per person is permitted.

6. The Prizes:
a. Grand Prize: One winner will win 1x 3 nights’ trip for two people to Berlin worth up to £1500.
b. Runner Up Prizes: Two winners will each win 1x 30,000 Avios points.
All winners will need to have an Avios account (or create one for free once notified of their win) to receive these Prizes.
7. Further Grand Prize Details:
a. The Prize includes return economy flights from a London airport, that services direct British Airways flights, to Berlin;
b. Return private transfers from the airport in Berlin to the hotel are also included;
c. The Prize is for 3 nights’ four star hotel accommodation in Berlin, based on two people sharing a twin or double room on a bed and breakfast basis;
d. Airline seats are subject to availability;
e. The winner and their guest must travel together in both directions;
f. All elements of the prize package must be taken as part of the same trip;
g. The winner and their guest must abide by and are subject to the Airline’s published Conditions of Carriage;
h. Once flight tickets have been issued, they are non- changeable and only valid for the dates and times shown;
i. Guests must be at least 18 years old;
j. If a flight or hotel booking is cancelled by the winner, no alternative tickets will be issued and for the avoidance of doubt, no compensation and/or refund will be provided;
k. The winner and their guest will require passports valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; any necessary visas, vaccinations or travel insurance are the responsibility of the winner and their guest;
l. The prize does not include local airport transfers, excess baggage, car parking charges, meals or drinks, excursions and attractions, additional nights and services at the hotel or any other costs of a personal nature not stated, all of which will be the sole responsibility of the winner and their guest.
m. The Prize must be booked and taken by 4th February 2017 (subject to availability) but excludes Christmas and New Year (20th December 2016 – 1st January 2017), Valentine’s Day, Easter, School Holidays and Bank Holiday periods in the UK and the country of the Prize.
8. Winners are responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guests whilst taking the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude the winner and/or guest from participation in the Prize if any party fails to comply with the directions of the Promoter or any companies associated with the Prize or the winner and/or guest act in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others;
9. Please allow up to 28 days to be contacted to organise the Grand Prize and up to 28 days for delivery of the Runner Up Prizes from the date of winner acceptance.
10. The Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. The Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

12. Winner Selection: All valid entries received by the Promoter during the Promotion Period will be entered into a prize draw to be conducted within 5 working days of the closing date and, for your total confidence, by PromoVeritas, the independent promotional verification service.
13. Winner Notification: Winners will be contacted via the email address or phone number provided upon entry within 7 working days of the draw and will be required to respond to confirm eligibility plus acceptance of the prize within 14 days of initial contact. In the event a winner does not respond to communications within the 14 days of initial contact, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and allocate that prize to an alternate winner selected in the same manner.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to accept any entries the Promoter deems, at its sole discretion, at any time not to comply with the terms as set out herein. If any element of an entry breaches these terms, the Promoter has the right to reject the whole entry, regardless of the stage the entrant has reached in the Promotion.
15. The Promoter may request that the winners participate in publicity arising from the Promotion. The winners are under no obligation to participate and may decline this request. Participation is at the winner’s discretion. The Promoter reserves the right to publish the name and county of the winners.
16. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries.
17. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries.
18. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties or will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries, entries submitted by or via third parties or syndicates, entries submitted by macros or other automated means, and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that participant’s entries into the draw in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the Promotion, that participant’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
19. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
20. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
