Discharged today, but doesn't feel real.

It says discharged by my name now.
Can anyone confirm to me that I am in charge of my own money now? That I wouldn't have to justify if I wanted to buy something frivolous and pricey? That if I suddenly inherited some money I wouldn't be liable to give £30k to credit card companies? That if I get offered a high paying job now and could suddenly afford to pay back the debts I still wouldn't have to?
Is this actually totally the case?
