Ultra-slimline dishwasher - any ideas?

Hi,

My partner and I are looking to buy a slimline dishwasher, but are looking for one with a 40 cm width due to space restrictions. The majority we've looked at are spec'd at 45 cm, but are there any that are thinner?

If not - are table-top dishwashers good?

Thanks,
Adam

    Hi Adam

I fit Kitchens for a living. 450mm is the slimmest you can get (but happy to stand corrected). You may struggle to get a door for a 450 also, but happy trying, but do not hold out much hope for you.

If you have the drawer space to spare, I remember once seeing an amazing counter drop in dishwasher. The price had lots of numbers though, and I can't remember where I saw it....so probably not much use then... ....it might have been at an ideal home show?

You used to be able to get counter top dishwashers. Are they still available? Could be unsightly, but ok in a utility room perhaps?

If at all possible make room for a full size dishwasher. I've had 2 slimline ones and I am ALWAYS overfilling them, with dire consequences!
  • Hey there
I'm new to this forum but found your question through Google as I too am looking for a dishwasher to fit into a 40cm gap. Did you have any joy? Would appreciate knowing although I realise this was posted ages ago! Thanks

    Ditto!

We redesigned our kitchen to fit a full size after similar experiances.
